CHALLENGER
BASEBALL
Being the parent of a special needs child can be a challenge at times. The Challenger Baseball Program understands the tireless efforts of parents and does not ask for parent participation, except to enjoy watching their child play baseball. The Challenger Baseball program is reaching out to special needs children and their families. The Challenger Program invites teenagers from area schools, youth groups, churches, and clubs as volunteers to "Buddy" the players on the field while Mom and Dad relax and enjoy the action from the grandstand. Everyone Wins! Children between 5 and 12 years of age, not able to participate in mainstream communite baseball programs, are welcome. The Challenger Baseball Program welcomes children with any physical or mental challenge. There are NO FEES or costs associated with the Challenger Baseball. Uniforms, hats, and equipment are provided. EVERY
